Sustainable Change Requires Collaborative Efforts Rooted in Justice and Equity

Our journey began with the establishment of BareSOUL Yoga & Wellness in October 2015, as a response to the health disparities and underrepresentation of the Black community within holistic health and wellness.

Over the years, we evolved from a small wellness studio into a community-driven force, centered around restorative practices and healing from historical, generational, and racial trauma.

The Meaning Behind Our Symbol

Inspired by WOFORO DUA PA A, a powerful Adinkra symbol, translates to "when you climb a good tree," representing support, cooperation, and encouragement.

The expression "Woforo dua pa a, na yepia wo" teaches that when you work for a good cause, you will receive support. This philosophy is at the core of The Well Collective’s mission to uplift individuals and communities through collective action, ensuring everyone gets the support they need to thrive.

Our Vision and Goal

The Well Collective seeks to shift systems—both individually and collectively—by placing the highest value on people.

Through leadership development and enhanced community capacity, we promote restorative practices that heal the trauma carried by individuals, families, and communities.

We believe in the power of collaboration and invite government leaders, organizers, and community members to work together for radical change.

The Well: A Space for Healing and Growth

Our headquarters is more than just a building; it's a hub for healing, education, and connection. It’s a space where leaders and community members can gather to teach, learn, and build together.

We envision a place where radical creatives, justice advocates, and those impacted by injustice can find solace, share resources, and foster healing.
