Day of Silence at The Well
Meet us for a self-guided day of silence as we lead into our #BuildingtheWell 21-Day Commitment from December 1 to December 21. From 9 AM to 4 PM, experience the opportunity to connect with yourself through structured meditation sessions, spaciousness and silence. Between the structured meditations, take time for reflection or engage with optional offerings to support building a relationship with yourself and silence. Carve out space to center your focus, tap into self and align with collective intention towards well-being. Light refreshments will be provided to nourish your body. Meet at The Well for a Nourish Dinner + Social, an evening centered on nurturing bonds and strengthening our community at The Well Collective. This gathering is a space for rest, connection, and coalition-building, where we come together to celebrate shared values and collective growth.
Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared, locally-sourced 3-course meal by Sweets and Soirees, designed to nourish the body and uplift the spirit. In a warm and inviting setting, engage in meaningful conversations that honor each of our unique paths, shared goals and collective vision. Come as you are—comfortable, relaxed, and ready to connect. Creating Your Own Renaissance by Crafting Your Narrative
A renaissance is defined as a revival or renewed interest in something. Through this creative writing workshop we will journey together to discover or rediscover the passions, creativity, ideas, or dreams that are within you.Together we will journey through activities that help you tap into your creativity and spark, while helping you discover new ideas to craft the vision for your life on how you want to see and be seen. Na’Kera is a writer and teacher by nature. During this journey of life she uses her gifts and skills to support others in finding their own joy, passions, and fire within. "Sit + Knit" is a welcoming and donation-based gathering that weaves together community, culture, and the therapeutic benefits of knitting led by Rene Hill + Krysten Wilson. Grounded in the traditions of communal crafting, "Sit + Knit" honors the rich cultural heritage of fiber arts as a form of storytelling, resilience, and connection. This gathering offers a unique space to slow down, connect, and restore through the rhythmic, meditative practice of knitting. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned crafter, this time and space is meant for you to enjoy a peaceful time with others while working on your own projects. Bring your yarn, needles, and yourself for a session of mindful crafting and conversation.

Move + Breathe En Espanol
Power Move + Breathe is a vinyasa-style offering that introduces an energetic sequence guided by intentional breath. The offering ignites the sensation of power through elements including variations of sun salutations, standing series, core engagement, and a restorative wind down that ends with space for integration and savasana. The offering merges building strength and gaining mobility in the physical body and mind. Variations are offered. All experiences are welcome. This class is offered in Spanish. The room is unheated for this offering.

The Nu Wave Collective is a group of Reiki Master Healers who channel universal life force energy into physical, emotional, mental, ancestral, and situational healing. Reiki is administered through laying hands on and above the client, who lays comfortably on a massage table. We look forward to offering you relaxation and rejuvenation through the healing art of Reiki!

21-Day Commitment, A Virtual Meditation Series
Our annual 21-Day Commitment begins December 1 to December 21! Meet us daily from 7:00 a to 7:30 a on zoom for a unique guided meditation practice led by a community leader, as well as an invitation to be in a variety of personal commitments. As we embark on #BuildingTheWell in our current climate, we look forward to bringing people together to hear from diverse perspectives and learn techniques to help us cultivate self awareness, inner peace and clarity as we foster deeper connections with each other.

NAMI X BHMVA X TWC - Sharing Hope Series: Thriving Through Wellness
Sharing Hope is a three-part community conversation series that shares sacred stories and empowers participants with support strategies and community resources. This initiative embraces cultural identity, providing a safe space for Black/African Ancestry and immigrant communities to gather, listen, and support each other on the journey to mental wellness.
The event will be held at the Black History Museum of Virginia.
Culture of Justice Education Series - "Action: Strategies for Moving Toward Collective Liberation”
This session focuses on collective action as a means for lasting social change. We’ll delve into historical case studies and discuss how communities can come together through shared vision, collaboration, and accountability to shape justice movements today.

Reiki 1 Certification Class
Have you ever wanted to channel the healing energy that Is Reiki? With Reiki level 1 attunement you can physically channel the healing universal life force energy. Restore & Retreat
Meet us for our Signature TWC Restore and Retreat on October 13 from 9:00 a to 3:00 p at The Well led by TWC Resident Practitioners and Partners, Sharmae Stringfield and Cyn Nwarache.
In a world where constant movement and production is prioritized, choosing to reclaim our birthright to be still, is a radical act of self-love and community love.
Our time together will begin with an opening circle and a guided meditation, followed by optional offerings to support the art of pausing and building community with self. Offerings will include restorative movement by candlelight, practical self-care practices, affirmations, meticulously curated playlists, intentional breathing exercises, journaling and self-inquiry, mini thai yoga bodywork offerings, mindfulness and somatic movement meditations, creative expression, opportunities to engage in childlike play and curiosity, and a nourishing lunch for varying food preferences.
The retreat will conclude at 3:00 p. All offerings will be optional.
Investment: Choose from tiers ranging $75-$125.

NAMI X BHMVA X TWC - Sharing Hope Series
October’s Collective Field Trip takes us to Conversation 2 of the NAMI x BHMVA x TWC Sharing Hope Series, led by Black clinician Mecca Williams, LCSW (@meccapresents). In this important conversation, Mecca will guide us through mental health resources, how to overcome shame and stigma, and when and how to ask for help.
