About Yoga Nidra:
Explore a combination of restorative yoga and guided yoga nidra practice to draw inward through relaxation. Yoga nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning "yogic sleep" is a deep relaxation technique and a form of meditation.
Yoga nidra is the practice of guiding yourself into the deepest state of consciousness where deepest rest, spacious awareness and presence is experienced.
This guided practice begins with an invitation to explore restorative postures with the support of props, then finding a supine or seated position followed by a guided invitation into an intention (sankalpa), the breath, and the body into a completely relaxed state that turns inward.
Led by Ashley Williams, MS, C-IAYT
About Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture:
Auricular acupuncture is a diagnostic and treatment system based on harmonizing the body through stimulation of points on the ear. During the treatment, small, sterile needles are placed on the outer ear which activates the parasympathetic nervous system, creating a calming effect.
