Sound + Movement integrates the songs and music of the African diaspora with Kripalu (gentle Hatha) yoga. In play, singing, asana, breathwork, centering, holds and kriyas we will activate the vagus nerve and parasympathetic nervous system.
Classes include a variety of music and center around various themes. Benefits include calming the body, relieving stress, stimulating the brain, mental health and memory. Come prepared to shed your inhibitions and make a joyful noise! All experiences are welcome.
