This his offering combines the restorative benefits of Yin yoga with the healing properties of vibrational sound. Yin yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that focuses on holding passive, seated or lying down poses for an extended period of time, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes or more. Each posture will target the deep connective tissues, fascia, and joints in the body to encourage relaxation, release and opening in the body. Props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets may be used to support and enhance the practice.
As you surrender into each pose, the vibrational tones from crystal singing bowls will envelop the space and penetrate into the body and mind to promote energy flow, balance and restoration.
