"Exploring Identity + Bias: Visions & Blind Spots in Justice” is the second session of our ongoing commitment to fostering justice and inclusivity within our community.
In this workshop, participants will delve into how our lived experiences shape personal identities and contribute to both implicit and explicit biases. We’ll explore historical accounts of how race, class, gender, and other identity markers have influenced the pursuit of more equitable societies—and how they can also obscure the path to true justice. Through engaging activities, we’ll lean on the strength of identity and use awareness as an anchor to challenge biases that hinder community building and inclusive change.
